What we mean by watching over is not simply continuing to look. It is a mechanism that notices the first sign of change, routes it to the person who needs it, and supports the decision and the action that follow. From keeping people safe, to operational processes, and on to the output of AI. That is the order in which TKS extended the technique. Because the mechanism is there, more of the work can be automated with confidence.
This way of thinking grew out of the watch-over system TKS has run for years, for older people and children.
QHow many days of annual paid leave are there?
Leave is granted once six months of employment have passed. The number of days varies with length of service.
QCould you change next month’s invoice amount?
The rules do not cover this, so we will not answer by guessing.
On watching over
What do you mean by “watching over”?
Not watching passively. It is a mechanism: recognise the early signal and the situations that need a human decision, route them to the right person, and support the decisions and actions that follow.
Why those three — people, operations, AI output?
Because it is the same mechanism applied to three subjects. TKS began with watch-over systems for older people and children, then extended the same thinking to operational processes, and then to the output of AI.
On the services
Which business areas can the AI agent cover?
Back office, accounting, finance, marketing, customer support — configured per business area. The platform is the same; what differs by area is the knowledge base, the business rules, and the hand-over conditions.
How accurate is it?
We do not publish a single figure. Accuracy is tuned per project, against your own data and your own standard. Answers come with their grounds, and a question that cannot be answered with confidence goes to a person rather than to a guess. We suggest checking it in a PoC, with your own real enquiries.
Where do people fit into the development process?
At every phase AI implements and verifies its own work; at every gate a person reviews and approves. The step where a person checks AI output is built into the process itself.
On how we work
Can we communicate in Japanese?
Yes — without an interpreter in between. A project leader who speaks Japanese works with you directly. We keep a contact point available 10:00–19:00 Japan time, and a shared glossary so the same term does not arrive translated two different ways.
How is progress shared?
A weekly progress meeting and a monthly report meeting as the base, with a review meeting at each milestone. A daily stand-up when the work calls for it.
What happens when a requirement changes mid-project?
We keep a change register, assess the impact, the effort and the schedule, and obtain your approval before proceeding. The weekly standing meeting is there to catch changes early.
How do you handle information security?
We sign NDAs in Japanese or English. Access is limited to staging and verification environments, and releases go through GitHub. We apply access control, log management and environment separation (Dev / STG / Prod), and design and build to OWASP guidance.
On getting started
Can we choose the contract type?
Yes — deliverable-based (fixed-price), lab contract (quasi-mandate), or unit-rate (cost-reimbursement).
Can we start small?
Yes — a free PoC of up to one month. We take a single feature slice from requirements through to a working demo, and hand over the source code and the design documents. If the outcome is No-Go, there is no cost. What we build to your requirements is yours either way.
